    French Lick *100* SCORESHEET

    IMG_3080.jpg
Finally got my sheets back in the mail and wanted to share this accomplishment. Not something you see often.
Even more remarkable is I drove it to the National and previously to Altoona, 2,000 miles or so to make this Journey.
Consider also being on original tires, air filter and battery that this car was delivered with to.
Some deductions taken for dirt dots, some missing blackout on mufflers and slight rust on manifold were not excused
despite being driven. Not fun at times and being concerned about factors beyond my control, all went well.
Indeed, this is a GOOD FRIDAY.

Congrats on that score (99.9) and driving putting you over the top.

Wow, and a 20 year old car. That's great.

Congrats, especially if you drove on 20 year old tires. If you drove 617 miles to French Lick you should have gotten more than .1 of a point.

IMG_3017.jpgYa Mike, I sure did. Not fun going home through Ohio and Pa in the wet but it cleared up by Erie. Took a couple days to get it clean again but a lift helps. The only other time it’s seen rain was the drive home from 2019 Cincinnati Regional. I got passed by several trailered cars on the way home getting some big .Highlight of the event besides the Hill Award was sharing some wonderful insights from Mr & Mrs Hill about some 50 th production issues - good and not so good. Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. I’ve been waiting 20 years for this.

Per the 9th Edition NCRS Judging Reference manual, page 33:
                    "Grand Total cannot exceed 100."
So further points than this 0.1 are ineffectual, in that the total of 100 was reached with 0.1

You can't score higher than 100%. I was limited in Tahoe and French Lick.

Back in the Old West when men were men and smelled like horses, you could run the score up by driving. It didn't change the outcome but it did acknowledge and document the effort it took to get there.

Thank you Arland for the history of your Sam Folz award winning car's judging sheets. I will never forget Tom Bullock's presentation at dinner in Kingman AZ of his adventure from the Atlantic ocean to Palm Springs in 2021.
