1967 327-350 Timing Chain Cover Configuration

What is the correct configuration for the 67 327/350HP timing cover in terms of the timing tab...specifically does it have a curved shape to follow the curvature of the 8" finned balancer or is the straight/flat? I seem to have both configurations and not sure which is OEM correct.

Another characteristic of the '67 timing cover for the 8" balancer is its unusual shape, as shown below:

I'm not sure the two photos show different timing tabs. The angle from which Leif's photo was taken makes it difficult to determine whether the tab is different from the photo I posted. I'm 99% certain that the photo I posted shows the correct '67 timing tab.
