    1966 Tail light housing

    Hello all,
I have been searching a few Chrome shops to redo my tail light housings. One replied that is was not possible due to the depth. Has anyone had theirs redone? Also is it worth it or should i buy new ones from Trim Parts?

    Thanks
    Mike

    Mike,
Only you can determine if it's "worth it"...have you contacted Pauls' or Librandi's in Pennsylvania? I would, simply, buy new Trim Parts...they're indistinguishable from originals.

Thanks Leif, Pauls said they would not do them. I will try Librandi's. The price from another is over double what i can buy trim parts for. Thanks for telling me they are good quality.

Buy the new ones and sell your used ones. Always somebody looking.

I bought new Trim Parts replacements from LIC a few years ago before they closed. They are excellent and have the correct (for a '65) cork gaskets and lens wicks.

I replaced mine, spot welds were starting to fail, can't read part numbers on back after installed anyway.
