Thanks for the explanation Harry, having never been an instructor I had no idea how it works. But there are lots of people chasing that 500 level judge swag these days, they don't think they are finished at 400.......

Understand, the Retreat, Concours Judging, and schools does not count towards the 5-star (500). Only Flight Judging at Regional and Nationals. You need 20 points in each of the areas (Ops, Int, Ext, Mech & Chassis), thus the 100 points. Anything over 20 in an area doesn't count, they are ignored.

Thanks for that info Harry, very interesting to know about that, of course I have never and will never play in that league, but good to know.
