I just did my lock boot cover. I soaked it in boiling water for a few minutes and then dusted the inside with talc. It slipped on the lock in 10 seconds easy-peasy. Thanks guys!

Another option is sitting the black boot in the full sun for 15 minutes, which will soften it up without getting it wet. Not an option on a rainy or snowy day though.

David Sokolowski always has them on hand.. Used OEM,, good condition..fair price. In the Driveline..

Based on what I heard last week, it’s likely that David S’s inventory is currently depleted of good used tire lock boots. But worth a call to check availability.

Yes I used a new repro boot. I can't swear to it but I purchased 95+% of my stuff from Paragon. My boot looks exactly like the one you posted in your reply to Gary.

Does the Paragon repro boot have a mold parting line, which you can just make out in post #10?
