Don, a couple of thing. You will need a couple extra of the bearing/shim spacers that are about 2" in length.

Shims get interesting and expensive. Let me know which ones you want to keep in stock because I have a lot

and wish to share. For a small fee each and USPS.

The axle installer I have and recommend (dont know the brand) but his is my discription.

Better yet here is an ebay one. I have used it a lot and it does pull the axle thru the bearings nicely.

The tool for setting up the bearing shims can be made from a used axle. Just have a friend cut down the two bearing surface so the axle bearings just slide on the axle. Save a hundred bucks or so.

Appreciate the offer Pat, but my friend is already planning to buy one. I normally use the Chapter owned set of tools or borrow Page's but we are doing a couple of cars and I don't know the full time frame yet.
