A 1963 Split for Conversation

I was at a cruise-in and noticed what I thought at first was a real red 63 split window.
However after looking the car over to determine how many "extras" the car had I got a look at the windows split "center piece"
That's interesting ... do that make a blue one?
Can't quite figure out the base year (it has a 64 hood)
Please help.

I believe that horizontal piece at the bottom of the split tells all ...

When the 64 Coupes came out many 63 split windows lost their splits and became 64 Corvettes! Then when the 63's topped the price lists they found their splits again!

...and if you have a C2 convertible (any year), Fantomworks used to (maybe still does) manufacture a '63 removable SWC hardtop.

Fantomworks owner claims in a video he owns the only SWC F/I with A/C ever built! Curious to see configuration of air cleaner, A/C compressor and alternator. Bruce
