Corvette Tele Column Assessment Help

Hi, I have a buddy looking at a tele column. He has an early 65 car. I have read there differences between the early 65 and later 66 columns and there are also corvair column out there that while simular will not fit the corvette. I read the lower mounting bracket is different for the corvair.

Can you tell from this image if this column is a true corvette column?

Is he getting the Tele column steering coupler in the deal? There is a difference between a Tele column steering coupler and the standard column coupler. If the tele column steering coupler is NOT in the deal they are hard to find and expensive when you do.

Yes, I agree. He was lucky and already found the smaller tele coupler...
