Hi, I am putting my front suspension back together on my 58 and I am a little confused. I purchased all new rubber bumpers for the front suspension. They came in a set of 4. 2 that get pushed in for the bumper for the upper control arm and then 2 that have a post with a nut on it.
I am not able to find anywhere in my AIM or online that shows were the lower rubber bumper goes. The only place where it looks like it could have gone has a bolt and nut already in it that looks like it is from the factory.
Did 1958 Corvette's not have a rubber bumper that went on the front lower control arm?
Here are some pictures I took where one shows the area I think it could have gone but I am wondering if 58's didnt have a lower rubber bumper.

Can anyone help me out in what should be a very simple thing. lol.
Thanks,
Jason
