    69 Crank Pulley Bolt Torque

The AIM states that the bolt torque for the crank pulley on my L36 should be 20 - 27 lbs ft. That sure seems low. Is that correct, or am I looking at the wrong place (UPC L36 A7)?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Good Day Michael. My 69 Corvette Shop Manual Says 60 ft lb. Torsional Damper. I Think Your Information Is For The Crank Pulley

Same here Peter for the damper. It's the pulley bolt torque I'm questioning. 20 - 27 just seems low for those three bolts.

It's correct. These are 3/8-16 SAE grade 5 bolts. 20-27 is correct for them.
