1967 SB Tach Cable

Is there a vendor that offers a correct tach cable? My 7 year old replacement with a correct red plastic tach end failed and the newest replacement from C Central has a crimped on sleeve that binds when attaching to the tach. It binds to tightly that mt drill can't spin the cable. This cable will be returned to CC tomorrow.
If there is NO CORRECT CABLE my only option will be install and calibrate an electronic replacement, not the best option or add a steering column tach, an even worse option.
