    Doc Dress and "Buckshot" racecar

I am trying to find information on a guy named Doc Dress and his Corvette (1957?) drag race car "Buckshot." Does anyone here have any knowledge or, better yet, pictures of these old timers?
Thanks for any and all leads.

So, wrong again, it's a '61 and the driver was Larry Lomardo. Thank you for setting me straight guys. It looks like Doc Dress is the current owner (as of June 18, 2018 anyway). Do any of you know how he can be contacted or where he lives?
I really appreciate all of this help.

Thank you Jack and all who've contributed. This will help immensely and points me in the right direction. From the sales pitch advertisement it sounds like the car has been restored to look like the original race machine but in fact most of the race stuff is now gone--a pity.

                  Ric,
The way I read that ad, it sounds to me like this is a recreation of what the original looked/looks like. Are there two out there? Seems like Doc Dress has one and Larry Lombardo still has the original? Does anyone know for sure what the real deal is?

I read that ad several times... I have a major reading disability... I still have no clue what car was sold.

@Richard Landeira If you have some time there are two long standing threads containing hundreds if not more photos of race and modified 1965 and earlier Corvettes. This is a Hot Rod web site. You will likely find that Jim Dillon (HAMB id jimdillon) is the most knowledgeable member there. He has a book on the subject in the works. Jim is likely able to assist you. You should find many pictures of Buckshot and it's history.
