Hello,
I just installed the wiper motor into my 63 and wanted to share, if someone hasn't already done this, my tip for making this installation a one person job.
I've attached a picture of the 1 1/2 inch headless bolt and 1 inch long nut. I installed the headless screws into the motors holes on the opposite ends of the motor. Then I used these screws as guides to find the appropriate holes and slid the motor in. Then from the inside of the car, I tightened the long nuts to snug up the motor to the firewall, Once done, I put the two regular screws in the opposing holes and then removed the headless screws and completed installing the final two screws. Of course there is some contortion going on, but again, I did it without a helper.
Hopefully, this gives someone a little piece of mind and a lower level of frustration.
