    Clock repair emergency

Tomorrow I’m hopefully off to the Altoona regional for PV. Unfortunately my 65’s clock picked Saturday as a nice time to start working intermittently. I’ve attempted to repair it by filing down the points, and it worked for a few hours, but it still seems to want to stall. When it stops, just moving it tends to start it up now, so I’m wondering what to do next?

Is sewing machine oil OK for the clocks gears?

I’m leaving Wednesday morning, so don’t have much time before I have to pull the plug on the whole trip, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The clock was restored by Clocks by Roger back in ‘16, so it only has a few hours of run-time on it.

Mike, I have one on the shelf (Restored) if you need one. I'm leaving tomorrow morning so just let me know.

Is clock R&R is a quick job on mid-years? If like C3 (major dash surgery), I'm impressed with your ability to swap it out last minute.
