Thank you for the minutes, John.
I
❸ Under d. Digital Publications – Mark Tulley. “i. Mark is looking for feedback and suggestions to meet the need to develop a digital publications capability.” The Restorer and Driveline are already digital. What other publications might this include ?
Respectfully submitted…and thanks in advance.
year and/or generation
applicable build (e.g. L46, with or without A/C etc.
part name
Seller name
part condition (repro, or NOS, or original used, or?)
add'l description
GM part # optional
One big benefit would be to exclude sellers who inundate with ads but are "challenging" to deal with. Another is to isolate parts applicable to ones car(s). etc.***************

- Thank you for the minutes, John.
The minutes make no mention of Vinnie Peters providing the InDesign files for the Driveline and Restorer publications to the board as requested back in January or does he still consider his work to be his intellectual property. If so, maybe the board should have a different Restorer and Driveline Editor. Vinnie appears to be holding the board ransom to keep his position. Should anything happen to Vinnie Peters all he InDesign files will be lost to the NCRS.

Re: March 17, 2023 NCRS Board Minutes
Mark,
Regarding the Hendrick comment in the minutes, Hendrick has been a major sponsor for the NCRS for many years. However, because of the controversy back in January they have thus far withheld their sponsorship for 2023. We are working on that and hope to get it resolved.

Re: March 17, 2023 NCRS Board Minutes
Ralph,
The statement made by Vinnie regarding the InDesign files during the January 6 Board meeting was a heat of the moment response which Vinnie has since retracted. Vinnie recognizes that the InDesign files are the property of the NCRS.

Re: March 17, 2023 NCRS Board Minutes
The National Board expanded our Code of Ethics which all employees and Directors signed and sent to the NCRS Secretary.
A paragraph was added pertaining to the NCRS ownership of Intellectual Property.
The editor has made available all relevant material needed.
The material in question was developed by him before he was appointed editor of both publications.
My comment about Digital Publications is strickly about looking to the future and options or programs that might be available. In the best interests of the NCRS
We are not contemplating any new publication at this time- Top
