Rochester Q'Jet Restorers. None in Driveline. Recommendations.

I'm looking for a Rochester carburetor restorer to restore my '69 Q'jet to NCRS standards.
Couldn't find any in my Driveline that came today.
    Thanks

Can't comment on "per NCRS". Goto guy for making them work.

I spoke with Cliff last week and alas, he has retired from working on Q-Jets. But he still sells parts.

It's good news for Cliff but a loss for the hobby. He was one of the best, if not the best, Q-Jet experts in the country.

          That's too bad.
It's difficult to find anyone who REALLY knows how to do them, and knows the details.

When did he start doing that?

He had previously stated many times on CF that he did not restore finishes.

                      Hi Rich,

Yes, Craig Woodruff restored my '67 tricarbs 20 years ago.
No deductions at all for originality or condition at the 2003 National in Hershey.
Still function properly and look great.

I dropped mine off (and picked them up) in person. His quaint little shop was buried in carbs and carb parts.

He can be difficult to get a hold of, but his work was excellent (at least 20 years ago) in my opinion.

                      good luck !
                      thx,
                      Mark

                        Mark,
I understand Craig Woodruff has moved; presumably to a larger place. I'll give him a call.
I tried some time ago to contact Lars by pm on the forum but he never responded. I'll try again by email.
I used Bob(?) Kunz many years ago, but I haven't seen any ads by him. Is he still doing them? Hope he's doing ok.
                        Thank You

I also use Chris's shop. Excellent work. He's done a WCFB and two AFB's for me.

I've used Eric Jackson who owns Vintage Muscle Parts in Ohio for several Holley restorations. Don't know if does other brands.
