    1969 big block valve cover

    My recent 1969 L89 project needs valve covers.
    I was looking for an original chrome set and realized that perhaps there are different part numbers depending on an early or late production car and depending on options.
    This 1969 car is optioned with PS, PB and I'm curious if the valve covers had a different part number depending on options and other factors.

      The left side was GM #3947883 and the right side GM #3925574. These were both discontinued and replaced by later iterations in early 1971.The chances of finding NOS examples? About as close to zero as anything could get.

          Way to crush my soul Joe!

          I'd love to find a NOS but would gladly settle for a decent condition set.
          Is there a number stamped on the inside of the covers? I checked Ebay and I don't see any GM numbers...

              there probably over 300 different 65-74 BB production valve covers. good luck
