Here's a Chart showing the spreads for the cars listed in the Table that have all 3 dates (casting; eng assy; and body build date
note: plotting "0" for the NAs unsupportably skews the data downward).

It would be nice to see some '68 data and more '69 data (with all 3 dates) to flesh out what that hump in the trendline looks like...

The # of days after Engine Assy to Body Build Date (BBD) are rather unremarkable to me (avg=12; MAX=36; and MIN=4). The MAX is 3x HIGHER than the AVG; and the MIN is 3x LOWER than the AVG - almost like a Bell Curve centered on the AVG.
