Well Done....

I must say I'm glad you fixed it, but surprised it was the distributor cap. It must have a crack in it and jumping spark to ground, causing a weak intermittent condition to the plugs. Either that or the cap wasn't made to spec.

Dave must be reconditioning the original Delco boards with upgraded power transistors. I wonder if he also replaces the trigger transistor and all of the aged capacitors.

Strange, I've used several of those on TI cars. Never had one fail.
