Can anyone tell me the exact measurement of the cutout in a midyear dash, for the center AC vent?

Let me rephrase this question. Does anyone have an midyear, with air conditioning, undergoing a restoration with the dash taken apart, or does anyone have an A/C midyear dash for sale? If you do, could you please measure the center vent cutout, and replay with the exact measurements. A response would be greatly appreciated. -

I don't need a dash. I am modifying my dash to accept an original center A/C vent. I just need some measurements so I don't screw up my dash. I built a resto-mod in 2017, and I am relocating the Vintage Air vents to the factory location.Comment

If you already have an original center dash vent or a replacement vent, can't you use that as a template to cut the opening?Comment

I could, but fear of messing up, tells me to cut the hole smaller than the bezel, fit everything, then expand the hole. It would be simpler just to start with the exact measurements.Comment
