Yes- I agree with your" I don't know what it'll take to make it a good driver" statement- could range from a few K's to many many K's!
I also wondered : why no paperwork? (except for the jack board label) A car that has been preserved since the start has no paperwork?
Then I realized that "stuff happens"- I ordered a new Corvette-(still have the car) but lost most of the paperwork due to a tornado!
Anyway-what an amazing car! Those colors- L72- Leather-Headrests- P48 Car- Probably the only one-I would definetly preserve and drive it, as restoration could disturb the car's DNA(to me) since there is few docs.
It is/will be a great car no matter what the new owner decides
