Guys,
Hope you don't mind a general AC but non-corvette question. I recently began the process of getting the AC on my 70 GTO working again. The unit was working fine until I pulled the engine to rebuild it. I had the AC system on my shelf open to air for a couple of years while I rebuilt the engine. I'm now looking to get the AC working again. When installing the system again on the car I installed a new dryer and closed the system. I had planned on then vacuuming and charging the system at that time but I had something come up and had to let the car sit for several months. I'm getting back to it now and wondering if I now need to replace the dryer since I didn't vacuum and charge it right away. What do you think?
Mike
