Power brake booster stuck

While I was bleeding the brakes, pumping the pedal WITHOUT the engine running I believe the diaphragm in the booster stuck down. Now with the engine running I have basically no brake pedal.
How do I correct this, unstick the diaphragm?

Ted, If that's really happening, some compressed air in the booster vacuum port might retract it.

But I'm thinking air in the brake system is why you lost pedal, or you compromised the master if the pedal bleed tore a seal in the bore if corroded.

Ted back out the nuts on master cylinder and you should be able to pull away master to take a peak at the piston to see if it is compressed, like Rich says there may be some rust that stuck the piston.if there is rust you will want to rebuild the master and will like need to resleeve if your dealing with a original master. Other wise just buy a new master.there are venders that reproduce the master cylinder and can date them.

Thanks good info will try. The booster seems to have corrected itself since I now have some pedal.
