    Correct Check Valve

    I am hoping someone can confirm that the booster check valve and clamp in the photos below is the correct one for a 1965 L79 Coupe.

      The correct ones are pictured in the latest version of the 1965 TIM JG.
      Region VII Director (serving members in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas).
      Original member of the Kansas City Chapter, est'd 07/11/1982.
      Member: 1965 and 1966 National Judging Teams
      Judging Chairman--Kansas City Chapter.
      Co-Editor of the 1965 TIM and JG, 6th and 7th editions.

        So looking at the TIM, it looks like this is the right one? Are there any vendors making this version? Is the issue with the clamp the curved ends? So if I find a clamp like this with flat ends that is the correct one?

          Scott,
          CSSB has a pretty nice replacement valve. Richard Fortier(advertises in the Driveline) should have the clamps.

            Leif, thanks! Ok, one last question. The TIM says they are originally white, but can fade to yellow/caramel. What are people putting on the cars these days. The white or yellow. They offer both. Just preference?

                  The reproductions are pretty close to the originals except for one detail. Inside the three dots (circles) on the face of the check valve there should be a letter inside of one dot (circle) and a number inside another dot (circle).

                    Just MHO, I would think GM used this same valve across many make & models.
