Is Charlie Santorelli still in business

I tried to call him this afternoon, before 4 pm and got a phone company recording that the number is not in service. Did I miss him before he retired? Looking for seat belt restoration for my '69.

Any other people that the group uses/trusts?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Harry, I'll try him again mid day tomorrow and see if I can connect. I'll then post an update.

Keith, yes restoration. I have removed my set of belts while my seats are out being recovered and so it's the perfect time to clean them, fix one small part and basically get them looking their best. And I've read on here that Charlie is the best at it.

Thanks. Very helpful. I may pursue him as well. I am ripping my car apart..seats and original belts are out. Had contemplated just getting a new restored set. Mine need a lot of work but webbing is intact and might be best to get them restored.

Call Charlie before 3:00 PM / 15:00(L) his time zone. He will not answer after that time....

Charlie called me a while back to advise of a phone problem and had me update the phone number for the March/April Driveline, which probably hasn't reached your mailbox yet...I believe the number in post #3 by Harry is from the last (Jan/Feb) issue...here's his latest ad with a different phone number, and they appear in all his ads in the services section...

Steve I just had my 67 marina blue belts reconditioned while I was recovering my seats. At least my forth set by Charlie. Great guy to talk to. Recovering seats is almost as bad as installing a dash harness. Tough on old hands

Vinnie, Thanks a million, that's what my problem was- calling his old number. I will try him today before 3 pm and make the arrangements to ship him my belts. Much appreciated.

Thanks Bill. I have heard so many good things about his work that I really wanted to make sure I could reach him. You have all helped immensely and hope the word gets out about Charlie's new phone number.

I spoke with Charlie last week. He's still in business for sure. 908 - 625 - 2299 is his #.

Charlie is not a warm and fuzzy kind of guy so don't let that scare you away. He did the belts for my 63 and they were spectacular.

I just spoke with Charlie this morning for about 30 minutes and we had great conversation about seat belts, my belts and other random topics. Super nice guy during our call and I've already shipped out my belts to him. His turnaround time will be about a week as he leaves for a couple of weeks of vacation in FL in early March. In regards to his phone, he apparently he had a problem with Verizon and now only has his cell phone. He is definitely still in business!
