    Grounding straps - '66 L72

It's my understanding distributor shield; braided plug wires; and the usual grounding straps were not installed on non-radio cars, but I'm trying to confirm if there were any grounding straps at all on these cars? It seems like should be some type of block to frame ground however I can't seem to find anything that confirms one way or the other in AIM or JM. Most of the info relates to radio cars.

Finally getting this engine back in the car and would appreciate if someone out there who can confirm what if any grounding straps should go on this non-radio; side exhaust big block car.

Paul>I have a non-radio 66 L72 that has a "Top Flight" award. IIRC> the only ground strap is the strap that attaches the
"Bird Cage" to the frame. There is a picture of this in the Search Function. Larry

Thanks Larry... exactly what I needed. What do I search on to find that picture? Didn't see under ground straps unless I missed it. - Paul

Paul<Here is a picture from my files. I had put this on before on this board so I know it is there but I
do not know the "Key Word" to search for it. You will see this ground Strap to purchase in the new Zip
Cat. and the old LIC Cat. BTW: Like Terry M. has indicated that the people on the Assembly Line sometimes
worked with old habits and put some Ground Straps on Non-Radio Cars as with Capacitors. So if they are
on an original it could be they indeed where put on at the factory incorrectly. Larry
