65 Coupe Rear blower

Helping a friend with his car and we have a tight cable for the rear blower
it works on all 3 speeds but is very tight to push in and out
Would appreciate any advice

my 65 coupes all had difficult to pull cables to the rear blower. i lubricated and tried working them to free them up. couldn't get them loose enough. got the repos from corvette central and they pull out with ease. mike mccagh
