I don't know the intended purpose for your outdoor cover, but let me share mine. The purpose for my outdoor cover is different than for my indoor one...

My outdoor cover packs tightly so it doesn't take much luggage room on road trips. My indoor cover is thick to protect from garage bumps. I layer three thick covers for extra protection and often put a couple of moving blankets on top (very bulky but cushy). I have a cramped, working garage so stuff can happen.

My outdoor cover is a generic size (from one of those companies that sells small, medium, large sizes) so it fits loosely and hides the car's contours. That's because I don't want it easily identified in a hotel parking lot. My indoor covers are also generic (because I'm cheap) but I get wanting a custom designer cover for a show garage.

My outdoor cover is cheap because it won't last long in the elements, and I replace it often to keep it fresh and clean. I'm more inclined to get a "nice" indoor cover because they last a long time. But generic covers with first rate materials aren't expensive either.

My outdoor cover has that silver coating on its outer layer which is virtually waterproof and reflects heat to keep the car dry and cool. It's advertised as breathable material, but that's not critical for overnight use. My indoor covers are quality soft, breathable material for extended use.

My outdoor cover has straps with plastic buckles front and rear because that design keeps the baggy cover on the car in windy conditions. My indoor covers just slip on for ease of use. I roll all three on and off at one time.

My outdoor cover does not have mirror pockets. That's because the mirror pocket seam is always the first to rip. Plus I want a loose, unidentifiable fit. My indoor covers don't have pockets either because I'm cheap, but again, I get wanting a designer cover for the garage.

The price of these type of covers is $50 - $90 on eBay or Amazon.

I'm the guy with the only car that's covered in the hotel parking lot and at the office (when I had a real job). I hate sun fading but like dark red cars.

Let us know what you decide to get.

Thank you all for your suggestions, Guess I'll keep looking. I see the value in having two covers.
