Re: Question on T3 Headlamps For C2 Vs. C3's
The designation "T3" was a marketing program, just like "Fire Ring" spark plugs, "Turbohydramatic", and "Rocket 88", to give the impression that the technology/safety of Guide headlights was superior to other brands. In fact the tilted and dipped configuration was mandated by the federal government since 1939 when sealed beam headlights were first required. In countries that drive on the left side of the road like England and Japan the tilt is to the LEFT and down. Here is a link to a Wikipedia article that speaks to this. Go to the section on "Regulations and Requirements" and go further to "Compatibility with Traffic Directionality"
There are many other histories of Guide headlamps and headlamps in general that also speak to this. So Mr. Price is correct that the T3 is the Guide reference to tilted 3 degrees down and to the right.
