    1971 LT1 emissions label

Who has the most correct emissions label, for a 1971 LT1, with an AX code? Thanks

No one. The font size is wrong on one, the alignment of words is wrong on another, the AX is too bold or not bold enough--no one has one that is really good.

Also been looking for one. If anyone hears of someone re-producing a better looking one, please let me know.

        Mike------

... and every reproduction I have seen was printed on paper and included an adhesive that does not last very long. The originals were printed on very thin, white plastic and the adhesive was permanent. I'll never understand why an original cannot be copied as the basis for a reproduction and printed on the correct material.

I've heard through the grapevine that an NCRS member has been able to make 10-20 of them and they'll have them in a few weeks.

                        Very poorly, unfortunately.

Is it printed on plastic material or paper?

                            George,
Where did you get this label from?
Looking at the original labels that have posted and my "quick" assessment shows the following:
                            - font, character and line spacing is different (in most if not all areas)
                            - "Do Not" verbage (line items #4 and #6) is not underlined
                            - Timing mark is dimensionally incorrect (and line pointing to 12 degrees is wrong)
                            - air exhaust emission control and transmission sizing is incorrect
                            - GM Logo should not be underlined

Again, no disrespect, just my "humble" opinion (not a NCRS judge, just a retired GM Corvette Team program manager) when looking at the posted labels.
