1963 Luggage Stop Carpet Installation

Could someone please post some pictures or a description of how the carpet should be installed on a luggage stop. I am trying to determine two things:

1 - How does the carpet end behind the seats....does the end butt up against the floor or is there some excess carpet that continues past the 90 degree bend?
2 - How does the carpet end at the rear storage compartment....does the carpet continue past the 90 degree bend and then glued to the the lip or does it continue down into the storage compartment?

Sven it's been a while since I did mine, but as I recall...

I recall the floor carpet has a beading, so you want the forward Luggage stop carpet down enough to allow the floor carpet beading to cover the edge of it. I think I rolled it down and forward about a inch, so the floor carpet beading covered it.

The back side of the stop should be glued down to the horizontal ledge and trim it along the edge of the well. This will allow the jack board to lay onto the carpeted ledge.

I'm pretty sure this is what I did but others may have more info too.

I found photos, but not that great. Black carpet. Flash washed out the first one.
