    Early 63 Owners Guide Envelope

    Hey guys,

    I have and original 1961- Early1963 Owners guide envelope, but it doesn't match the picture of the one in the Judging Manual. The one shown in the manual is for a 1960-1961, which is not correct. What should I do, get the 1960-1961 to match the manual for judging, or keep the original 1961- Early1963 and try to prove to the judges that this is correct?

    Also, the last paragraph in the JM picture refers to (See I. 7.1) for the correct color of the Owner Protection Plan, which is also incorrect, as it is (I. 7.4) on the next page of the manual. I'm not trying to rewrite the JM, just want to make sure I am doing the restoration correctly.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

      Todd, I'll take a look at the manual this week. If I don't respond by Friday, please send me an Email and I will get right back to you. I'm working with the team on the Exterior section right now. I may not get to the interior for a few more weeks or months.

      Don't make any changes to what you have right now.

              Todd, If your envelope is dated 11-23-60 with a part number 3785443 then it is correct for 63. We'll get a better/correct photo into the next revision. The interior judges know this and your envelope will judge correctly.

              I didn't get a chance to look at the owners protection plan section. I might have some time tonight.

                          Todd, I haven't forgotten you with regards to the owners protection plan books. I haven't had a moment to look at the current manual.

                          There are 4 Versions of the manual.

                          3821481 Early Yellow cover
                          3821481 Early Yellow cover....2nd Edition
                          3838412 Late Salmon cover
                          3838412 Late Salmon cover....2nd Edition

                          I don't know if we have a good break point for each book. Perhaps a survey is in order.
