Bent Mid year glass run - experience on how to straighten

OK, the helper bent this, probably won't be reefing on any Corvettes any time soon, definitely not mine!IMG_0127.jpg

Given these parts are not reproduced, does anyone have a solid idea how to get the bends out of this so that glass goes up & down smoothly?

Try to find a piece of plywood or something, that is the same thickness as the glass. insert it in the channel and gently "massage" the channel to it's original config.......
