Thank you that is what I figured. My present windshield is about early 70s vintage with tint on top.
So no use changing unless a clear one is installed. I used to do the judging thing and got Duntov on my 61 in 2008 but no more of that.

Depending on your tint and logo, you may have less of a deduction with your current windshield, than you would if you bought a new windshield.
