66 deck lid light

I just read a post about the "deck lid light on a 67". I am the third owner of my 66 convertible (bought it in 1976). I have not noticed a light on my car. Does the 66 have a light?

Yes, all C2 convertibles have a deck lid light. Take a look, the bulb could have simple blown.

Hi Mel,

I remember being surprised to find the rear compartment light on my '66 convertible while working on my deck lid springs. I didn't know there was one back there either. Your burnt out bulb should be replaced by a #90 bulb.
