    c5 Corvette radio

Can anyone give me some help with a reliable adapter to include a Blue Tooth adapter to a stock radio. I have the radio with CD player. I have the car dash stripped out and the radio on the bench.

I am in Australia and do not have any merchants here that can help.

    Thank you

I'm not an electronics tech, so can't help with how to mod your radio.

But you might try an FM radio/bluetooth adapter that plugs into the cigar lighter. It connects to your phone via bluetooth (or usb cable) then converts the signal to an FM frequency that your radio receives.

I've never used one but they're inexpensive and may be worth a try. Here's one as an example that's available for US$18:

      Colin,

Send Dr. Don https://www.doctordons.com/ an email and ask him. He might even sell you a kit if he uses off the shelf parts.

Dr. Don's one of the best Bose repair shops.

Search for iSimple PXDX PXHGM4. It provides an AUX port into the the head unit's connection for the factory CD changer. If you don't have the factory changer in your car, the port will be vacant - it's on the back of the head unit. If you do have the changer, you'll need an additional iSimple cable that allows your new AUX connection and the changer to share the port.

You can then connect any Bluetooth adapter into the AUX port provided by the PXDX. However, you'll need to hurry because iSimple has discontinued this product and the remaining units on the market are drying up.

I did this and buried everything in the dash so it is out-of-sight.
