    68 Rubber brake hoses for front and rear

    Hello all,
    Need suggestion please re: rubber brake hoses at front and rear wheels to calipers.
    What vendor sells the CORRECT hoses for my 68 that will pass NCRS judging?

      Short answer - none.

      Original hoses had single crimps at each end. Double crimps have been mandatory since the mid-70s, so no one makes new single crimp hoses.
      Having said that, if you buy current hoses and remove any metric size notations as well as current date codes, they will likely "pass" as well as any. If they say 12/19/2022 for a date and 8mm, I'll deduct for that.

          Agree with Patrick, I replaced my front hoses with Goodyear rubber hoses, cleaned off the makings, No deduction at the Mobile National last summer. This is also considered a safety item. Make sure you get a good quality replacement hose.
