    1966 L72 fuel pump replacement

Hello all and Happy New Year. My fuel pump gave up the ghost and it's raining fuel from the pump. Wanted to put a temp fuel pump on to keep it on the road but where my old fuel pump had a NPT fitting to the pump and a flared vertical. The New Carter pump had a flare at the pump so my old fitting would not work. (My car was off the assembly line in April 66)

I have read on the CF that people use a L88 pump to carb Y block fuel line but would like to keep it as original as possible until I can get the proper pump, plus putting a flared fitting under the pump seems like a challenge I would like to tackle if I don't have to...but will if no other choice.

Does anyone know of a fitting for the pump flare to the vertical flare that is same dimension as the L72?

Or best of all would like to just buy a 1966 pump and fitting. (Fitting in case my old pump and fitting is not correct.)

Looked through the Driveline and did not see anything.

    Thanks. Mark
