Yes they are terrycloth material. They are the thickness of fabric. I have no idea how thick they are. 1/8th of an inch?
Look it up in their catalog.

I have seen covers that are made of large moving blankets, like the ones that you can buy at U-Haul. The center of the blanket is cut-out to match the hood opening, then a nice edge is sewn to the cut-out's edge. It can be made to cover not only the fenders, but the nose and cowl area as well. For us clumsy folks who spill and drop things, I guess a protective material could be sewn to the top of the fender area of the blanket. I want to make one of these someday lol.

I have 4 moving pads I got from North American Van Lines and they work well except for some sliding around. Luckily I haven't spilled anything on my cloth or vinyl pads or fender covers. I have "bumped" the pads lightly with tools and luckily no damage.😊🤞

I have 4 of the NCRS covers that any can have for free by contacting me through the site messenger option.

I ended up going with covers from this company. http://www.fendercovers.com/

They offer many sizes and options, including a removable and washable artificial wool liner to protect the surface.

I really prefer a large, cotton bath towel for my fender covers during judging.

I going to have flannel sewn on the back side of my NCRS covers. Only because I want the logo to be seen is why I'm keeping them. Deep into a project tucked away in the garage I would buy a different cover. I can't believe these are being sold to show car owners. I would of gladly paid twice as much for a "real" cover. Sad just sad. They cost 40 a piece now I have to spend 75 on flannel material and then 50 to have someone sew it all.

I bought 4 yards of flannel that I'm going to have sewn on my two covers. I prewashed the flannel to prevent any shrinkage problems or ink dye transfer.

My NCRS fender covers date to the early-'90s and the neoprene/foam disintegrated a few years ago. I only use them when working on the cars, so made with a padded furniture blanket surround that I use the NCRS vinyl covers over top. Have yet to make up a pad cutout for my '72.

Finally received these new fender covers and they are very nice. Vinyl hooks on one edge keep them from slipping off which is something I've never seen on any other cover. Liners are removable and very soft.

The leather shop called said my covers are ready. I had them lined with flannel. Can't wait to pick them up.
