I think I know the answer but I want to be sure. Can a car be judged for Bow tie and flight/duntov judging at the same event?

Please read paragraph 5. You may go for a Bowtie Sign Off and Flight Judging at the same Regional or National. But the way I read 5 is, only Bowtie Judging happens at a National and nothing else.

I have seen several people awarded a 4 Star Bowtie and a Duntov at the same National for the same car.

I believe that judging for both has to be pre-approved by the national judging chair.

Page 68 in the JRM (9th Edition) lays it all out. National judging chair invitation needed if the Bowtie is achieved first at one National and a Duntov is attempted at a later National. Not needed if Bowtie and Duntov are done at the same National.
