The GM #3871543 was discontinued without supersession in November, 1989. 33 years is plenty of time for any available stock to dry up.

Master cyl in question is/was Bendix source, not Delco Moraine. Bendix m/c p/n 618690 & Bendix rebuild kit for same is/was 617219. Paragon Reproductions #6650K may be your most reliable in-stock alternative as most olde' sources & numbers have discontinued long ago.

Yes, and that's actually why both the master cylinder and rebuild kit once had Chevrolet part numbers and not Delco-Moraine part numbers like most other Corvette master cylinders of the period.
