    C6 diagnosis

The red light on the DIS indicated there was a problem with my air bag sensor. Had it diagnoses by my local dealer they indicated the problem was in the seat belt D/S. I ordered the seat belt kit (2 units) for 1028.oo installed. When I left the dealer, the light went out and has stayed out for over three weeks. I was able to have my credit card reimbursed no foul no problem. Can one of you C-6 wizards tell me if the problem is in any other part of the system or is this a gremlin I will be chasing until I start presenting the car for Flt judging sometime next year. This has me worried due to PV requirements?

    Ed,

There is a Yellow connector under the seat that can come loose causing intermittent faults. See these threads that talk about it.
There was a 10 year warranty extention, but may be gone now. Also a TSB.

I've had the same intermittent issue on my '07 but fixed the connector years ago myself. No more red light. Every time my seat moved it caused the problem.

Mike, that would be years before I could have the car judged, my end of watch clock is going down every day. I have to grab what I can while I'm still upright. Rich, thanks now I know where to go, great info and photo.
