62 Washer Bottle Lid Changeover

I've searched the archives, as well as Noland Adams book with no answers. Can someone clue me in as to when the changeover from the gray lid to the blue lid in 62 occurred? Added to that, I am unclear if the vacuum tank is different on an injected car as opposed to a carb.
