Early 63 spare tire tub cover

Hey Guys,

I have two early 63's and two spare tire carriers and covers. Both have the MFG logo and part # raised on them. The JM states "no part #s nor manufacturer's logos". Is this correct in the JM? I can't imagine that both of my cars have had wheel tubs and covers replaced. Can someone verify what is correct?

I forgot to add mine is a May car.

The part# and manufacturer are present on an extra lid I have on hand that came from a June 1963 car.

The logo and number are on my July 19th 63. The tub is the second design.

I do not think it is on my April 20th 63. I'll check it tomorrow. The tub is the first design. Just went out to the garage, feels like it's there, too dark and cold to look at it.

The number and logo are on my December 26th 62.

Perfect, mine is December 4th '62. It appears the JM is incorrect based on all the feedback. Thanks for all the help guys!
