The original trunk mat needs to come out. It's so brittle it will break when I bend it. Any ideas ????

My original 56 trunk mat was very brittle. I put a board under it to take it out with caution. I used a Flex Seal and another rubberized sealant product to fix the broken pieces. With patience, one can get very good at blending in the pieces. The judges will sometimes give you a break when you present an original piece like this that ages and becomes brittle with tome.
