Altoona Regional Two Weeks Away. Final Line-Up

Altoona Regional is online for registration. June 1,2,3, 2023. All Judging done indoors, operations done in a covered parking garage.

The convention center is located between beautiful Pennsylvania mountains, quick access from a major interstate. Full Judges breakfasts and lunch buffets, Saturdays Banquet will be 1st Class, all under control of the conventions centers "World Class Chef".

I was finishing up the registration for Altoona this morning and tried to pay with Credit Card. Each time it took me to pay pal instead. Is this correct?

I went ahead and did it through pay pal.

Rich, you are signed up, and good to go. Paypal usually allows you to use your funds, or credit charge choices.

Here is a little more info about our Altoona Regional:
We are excited to host the only Regional in the north east US in 2023. This is our third regional at this location and 7^th overall regional for our chapter. The host location is the Blair County Convention center with a huge indoor, partially carpeted show floor and an adjacent 6 level garage for operation judging and general parking. We plan on using the show floor for all Judged, PV and Bowtie/Sportsman displays as show size permits. We have onsite trailer parking and the host hotel, Marriott Altoona, is next door with a covered walkway to the convention center.

We have just finalized our menu selections and they are awesome as usual. Judges and chapter workers will be treated to full hot cooked breakfast and lunch on both judging days. Our Thursday reception will be staged in the Grand Lobby with a summer barbeque theme fully catered food selections with live entertainment. Our Saturday banquet is a multi-station buffet with chef served short ribs, fresh salmon fillets, parmesan chicken breasts, pasta and for dessert a build your own ice cream sundae bar. We are known for our food here in Pittsburgh at our events. Also, there will be hot lunch sandwiches available for purchase on the show floor for owners, guests and non-judges.

Owners, please consider bringing your car for flight judging or PV or display, we would love to have you and promise you will have a great time. If you need to have your car judged prior to the French Lick National, or Hampton Roads National, we are your first stop in the north east.

There are a large number of local activities in the Altoona area, including Railroad history museums, antiques, candy and pretzel manufacturers, flight 93 memorial, etc. We will provide a list of local highlights in each registration packet.
