Trailing Arm Spring Bolt Cushion Cups...Swaged?

Are the trailing arm spring bolt cushion cups swaged into place? I reconditioned my originals for my '65 and when I took them apart the cushion cup came out without any resistance. The picture is for information and not the actual car I'm working on at this time.

    Yes they are.

Gary Beaupre may still have the swaging tool that you can borrow if you ask. Makes a perfect fit.

I have Gary's swage tooling at this time. I just wanted to be sure that thay were swaged before sending the tooling back to him today.

My original cushion cups that I removed from my '65's trailing arms were not fully swaged. They pulled right out when the bolt was removed.

            James,

What was their state of rust?
