Heater Fan Blower Switch / Cable C2

Does anyone recall what the length of the INDAK heater fan switch / cable is on a AC car versus a non AC car? Also Vinyl covered or not?

    Jimmy,

Are you referring to the outer black sheathing as the "vinyl" covering? If so then yes, it has the outer black cover. At least the one on my original '65 coupe woth A/C does. Can't help you with the length, as I did not measure it when I had it removed to fix the fan switch last spring.

Jimmy original 65 non ac here is 32" overall. That is tip of shaft for the knob to far end of the eye that goes on the rod. It has a smooth black plastic casing for the pull wire.

Both Air Conditioned and non-Air cable lengths can be found with the reproduction versions listed on Corvette Central's website. (You might have to Click on "SPECIFICATIONS", for each version.

Their measurements don't start at the knob, because they list 28 inches for the non-AC version.
