'70 tail light bulbs what is correct ?

Got new tail light bulbs from Paragon, all 4 are 2 post - which seems correct for the outer taillights,
but the wire coming to the two inner / center tail light assemblies is a single wire- shouldn't that inner assy bulb be a single
    post bulb ???.
I am not sure post is the correct word, but set up to connect to 2 wires out side taillamp assy, inner/center tail light assy just one wire
Clearly, electricity is not my strong point. Anybody have the correct bulb number handy ? Thanks

The inner rear lamp is an 1156 which has a single electrical contact. The outer rear lamp is an 1157 which has two electrical contacts.

By the way, the front turn signal lamps are also 1157 but 1157NA. The "NA" suffix denotes and amber glass color.

            Joe,
Did the entire production run of 1970 utilize the amber bulb and clear lense?

              Justin,
1970-1971 used the amber bulb with clear lens. 1972 went with the amber lens.

Given the marginal taillamps in these cars (only a single bulb for each corner), consider the 2357 bulb, a plug in replacement for the 1157 with a 25% brighter brake/signal filament.
