One of my winter projects is new carpet for my 67 convertible. I'm leaning toward ACC due to price, but the descriptions of their carpet has me confused. The ads say it does not come with a pad but elsewhere it says the jute padding is heat welded to the back side.
I sent an email to ACC and got this response - 'The jute padding is OEM style but we are aftermarket. The
So the rep from ACC says the 67 did not have jute padding, but the 67 judging guide says - 'All models have both front and rear molded 80/20 Rayon/Nylon carpeting of double twist loops woven distinctly into rows. It is attached to thick floor insulation in all areas except the rear storage cover, compartment divider and the kick panels.'
Is the rep incorrect in saying the 67 carpet did not have a jute pad?
Has anyone use ACC and did you have to order the jute pad separate?
Thanks,
Don
